A NIGHT OF COMEDY BENEFITING NIP
September 21, 2024
Courtyard by Marriott - Parkside Town Commons - Cary, NC
Join us on September 21st for a unique roast honoring our Co-Founder and Board Chair, Clay Aiken, who has dedicated over 20 years to advocating for the inclusion of children with disabilities.
Help Crown the WINNER
Forget what you know about traditional roasts—this one is a competition! We've gathered a lineup of incredibly funny people to compete for the title of "Roastmaster" by celebrating Clay's achievements with a mix of praise and playful jabs. Donations made by those in attendance will determine the Roastmaster and our comedians will use every trick up their sleeves to make you laugh and earn your donation.
A PERFORMANCE by Clay and the Band
The night will conclude with a special performance by Clay and the band including a setlist created by YOU! That’s right, this year’s setlist will be chosen by those registered for the event, so start thinking about songs you’d like Clay to sing and see the details below.
WANT MORE? Join us for IMPROV!
The fun starts earlier that morning with an Interactive Improv Experience led by our comedy partners at Mettlesome Theater! Mingle with NIP board and staff while participating in an unforgettable experience where the audience (and Clay himself) becomes part of the act! (more details below)

BE PART OF THE SHOW!!
We wouldn't dream of hosting a competition to celebrate Clay without including YOU! In the coming weeks, everyone will have the opportunity to be part of the show in several unique and anonymous ways. We're also reserving a spot or two in the competition for any brave soul interested in being crowned Roastmaster! Be on the lookout for more details on our social media channels.
Event details will continue to be released as we confirm the specifics and get closer to the event. Make sure to check the website and socials regularly!
YOU CHOOSE THE SETLIST
Clay's setlist this year will be built upon YOUR requests. That's right, YOU get to choose the evening's performance.
We will gather song suggestions thru Aug 2nd at noon ET and then run them through the Clay filter (he gets final say). Then, we'll open up voting (with $) and the top ten songs will be our winners and make it on the setlist! (More details on that to come.)
But, you MUST be a registered attendee in order to submit and/or vote. So, if you haven't done so yet, you best get registered!
