Brooke’s Camp Story

The NIP-trained counselors all embraced and accepted Brooke in a way that lifted her up, boosted her self confidence, and made her feel like one of the gang. With National Inclusion Project’s help, we were able to provide Matthew with the support he needed to not just participate, but ultimately CONNECT with his fellow campers. In less than a week, we watched Matthew progress from needing continual support and encouragement to initiating conversations with counselors, advocating for himself, and eagerly staying and participating with his group.
