Join us on #GivingTuesday!

November 12, 2013

GT-Web-Banner300x250-slogan-blue.jpg copy 1The retail industry has long benefited from seasonal shopping that symbolically kicks off with ‘Black Friday’ – a day that has since inspired ‘Small Business Saturday’ and ‘Cyber Monday’.

Well, this year on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, the National Inclusion Project is celebrating a day dedicated to giving – when charities, families, businesses, community centers, students, retailers, and more will all come together for #GivingTuesday – a movement to celebrate giving and encourage more, better and smarter giving during the Holiday Season.

#GivingTuesday is not a new giving platform, but a call to action. It’s an organized principle to encourage the creativity and energy of people all over the world to work together for good. We invite you to be a part of this celebration. #GivingTuesday will show how the world can do much more with our wallets than just consume.

As a way to help kick-off the beginning of the Giving Season, for every child that we send to camp* on #GivingTuesday (every $250 we raise on Dec 3rd), a donor will be randomly selected to receive a special token** of our appreciation to help celebrate their giving spirit.

To participate and kick off the Giving Season, click here or go to DONATE at the top the page on Dec 3rd.

*Your gift to help send a kid to camp will help us to equip community programs through training, staffing, and scholarships with our Let’s ALL Play Inclusive Recreational Program model. Let’s ALL Play creates opportunities for children of ALL abilities to participate in activities that many of us take for granted. Because you have chosen to give, a child will play, learn, and make friends with their peers for the first time. Your gift ensures that no child sits on the sidelines!

**Donors will be selected randomly to receive a gift from the National Inclusion Project. To be eligible, your gift must be received on December 3rd ET. The gifts will be mailed out within 2 weeks of Dec 3rd to the address given with donation. Based on the amount of donations we receive, it is possible that not everyone selected will receive the same item.
