Goodsearch Names TBAF

August 10, 2006

On Monday, August 14, The Bubel/Aiken Foundation will be featured as “Charity of the Day” on GoodSearch.com. GoodSearch is an Internet search engine with a simple concept and unique social mission. GoodSearch enables you to help fund hundreds of thousands of charities or schools through the simple act of searching the Internet.

The company was founded by a brother and sister team who lost their mom to cancer and wanted to find an easy way for people to support their favorite causes.

It’s simple. You use GoodSearch.com like any other search engine (they’ve partnered with Yahoo! to ensure great results), but each time you do, money is generated for the Foundation.

There are many ways to spread the word about The Bubel/Aiken Foundation’s partnership with GoodSearch. Here are just a few:
1.    Try to get 20 people to either download the GoodSearch toolbar and/or make GoodSearch their homepage, designating the Bubel/Aiken Foundation as the cause they support.
2.    For those of you who have blogs, create an entry about GoodSearch and the Foundation.
3.    Email 20 people telling them about GoodSearch.
4.    If you work in an office environment, ask the IT department of your office to download the GoodSearch toolbar onto everyone’s computer.
We hope that not only will you use GoodSearch as your main search engine from here on out, but you will also pass this message on to your friends and family. The more people who use this site, the more money will go to the Foundation’s mission of full inclusion.
