Be a HERO at the Save the Day 5K on Aug 26, 2017!
Save the date for Harrisburg, PA’s 2nd annual Save the Day 5K, fun run & block party!
Come for the race, stay for the party! This fun, family-friendly event includes a 5K race along the scenic Harrisburg riverfront, a 1 mile fun run and a block party to follow. We encourage all participants to dress up as their favorite super hero, with a prize for the best costume to be awarded after the race! The block party includes a DJ, photo area with super hero props, free beer for adults, and a separate Kids’ Zone with crafts and activities for the kiddos. This inclusive event benefits the National Inclusion Project, whose mission is to bridge the gap between kids with disabilities and the world around them.
