We are pleased to announces a wonderful addition to the list of special guests joining us at the Champions Gala this year! 2013 Tony nominee Keala Settle will join the line-up at the Gala to show her support for the work of the organization and share the stage in an exclusive, one time only performance with co-founder, Clay Aiken.
Settle, a talented actress and singer, is a longtime supporter of various charities and says “I’m so thrilled to be able to celebrate with the National Inclusion Project on their tenth anniversary, and I can’t wait to finally get to sing with my good friend, Clay!”
Keala most recently played the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Clay Aiken this summer in ME. She was seen earlier in the year in Hands on a Hardbody on Broadway, for which she received 2013 Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations, as well as winning the Theater World Award. Other Broadway and National touring credits include: Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Shirley), South Pacific (Bloody Mary) and Hairspray (Tracy Turnblad). Workshops: The Last Ship (music/lyrics by Sting, book by John Logan & Brian Yorkey, directed by Joe Mantello), The Legend of Bobby Stone and the Good Feeling Hat (written by Ben Andron, directed by Peter Scolari), Violet (City Center Off-Encore directed by Leigh Silverman).
