Why it Matters
Fear is a powerful thing. But we ALL have the power to overcome it--especially when we have friends supporting us.
But many children with disabilities and their families share the same fear:
That they will never make a friend.
No child--with disabilities or without--should feel this way.
By joining the challenge, you can help ensure no child has to.
Get Started. Choose your fear, create your Challenge page, and set a fundraising goal.
Spread the word. Reach out to your friends, family and social networks and ask for their support. Make sure to let them know you'll be facing your fear if you meet your fundraising goal. We'll even provide you the communication tools you need!
Walk the Walk. Once your fundraising goal is met, it’s time to face your fear!
Pics or it didn’t happen. Upload photo/video evidence on social media using the hashtag #FaceYourFear4Inclusion by Aug. 31 and bask in the glory.
Recruit. Challenge a friend to face their fear! Call them out on social media using the #FaceYourFear4Inclusion or just call them if you are old school :). And remember, it's not easy to step out of your comfort zone so make sure you are their biggest cheerleader. An incentive like your donation will help, too!
Walk the Walk. Donate to your friend's campaign, and encourage your social networks to pledge their support as well.
Pics or it didn’t happen. Make sure your friend posts their fear-crushing victory on social media by Aug. 31 and use the hashtag #FaceYourFear4Inclusion so that we can ALL celebrate their victory!
